Remember That One Time? An Evening with Larry Joe Campbell and Friends

Larry Joe Campbell has written a book and assembled some of the best actors and improvisors to bring excerpts to life. Joining him are Jaime Moyer, Nancy Hayden, and Rico Bruce Wade. The evening will feature a mix of music, stand-up comedy, improvisation, and audience participation.

Margaret Richmodovich, US Daily Arts critic, calls it, “Mostly hilarious, with a nice dose of heartwarming, and a bit of heartbreak.”

Remember That One Time? tells the story of Max Sheffield, an aging actor whose wife recently left him. Seeking solace in a small Michigan town during the winter holidays, Max loses his voice in a freak accident. Silenced, he becomes an observer of the town’s eccentric residents and their personal dramas. Through his observations, Max confronts his own role in the breakdown of his marriage. Can he salvage his relationship and find redemption?

About Larry Joe Campbell

Born in Pontiac and raised near Cadillac, Larry Joe Campbell earned his BAA in Broadcasting and Theatre from Central Michigan University in 1992 and his MA in Theatre from Wayne State University in 1998. He moved to Los Angeles in 1999, where he and his wife raised their five children. Larry Joe is best known for his role as Andy in According to Jimand has appeared in Wedding Crashers, Hall Pass, Pacific Rim, The Orville, Euphoria, and Mom. He currently stars as a recurring character in Fox’s Animal Control.
