Miss Michigan and Miss Michigan’s Teen Program
The Miss Michigan Scholarship Program is a statewide competition that provides young women with opportunities for scholarships, personal development, and community impact. As part of the larger Miss America Organization, the program focuses on empowering participants through education, leadership, talent, and service initiatives. Contestants are evaluated in areas such as interview, talent, health & fitness, and evening wear, while also promoting a personal community service initiative.
Each year, the program culminates in a final event where contestants from across Michigan compete for the titles of Miss Michigan and Miss Michigan’s Teen. During the crowning ceremony, outgoing titleholders pass on their titles to the newly selected winners, celebrating their achievements and welcoming them into a year of service, appearances, and advocacy across the state. The new titleholders go on to represent Michigan at the national level, competing for the titles of Miss America and Miss America’s Teen.
