Collins Music Fund Presents
For nearly two decades, Dumpstaphunk has stood at the forefront of New Orleans music, carrying forward the rich funk legacy of the Neville family and The Meters while forging a sound all their own. Renowned for their electrifying live performances, the band has shared the stage with legendary artists including Carlos Santana, Bob Weir, George Clinton, Dave Matthews, and members of Phish. Their career highlights include opening for The Rolling Stones in New Orleans and touring with Dave Matthews Band.
Formed during Jazz Fest in 2003, Dumpstaphunk blends deep, infectious grooves with elements of rock, jazz, and soul, creating a sound that is both rooted in tradition and distinctly modern. Their powerful musicianship, dynamic improvisation, and unmistakable New Orleans spirit have earned them a devoted following and a reputation as one of the premier funk bands performing today.
