Heather Brewer

Marketing and Volunteer Administrator

Joining the Frau team in 2024, Heather Brewer has a long-standing connection to the Frauenthal Center, having attended numerous Free Family Movie Days when her children were little. More recently, she has accompanied her musician kids to the symphony and other performances and cultural events hosted here. With nearly twenty years of experience as an Art Director and marketing strategist, Heather is a seasoned creative professional adept at blending strategy, design, and storytelling to engage audiences and drive impactful outcomes.

Tyler Dorman

Facility Operations Manager

Tyler first walked into the Frauenthal for the Mona Shores Singing Christmas Tree in 2008 and has been here ever since. He currently serves as Facility Operations Manager leading the areas of maintenance, custodial, stage equipment, and theatrical tech. Tyler also oversees all upgrades and improvements to the facility. One of his favorite parts of his job is seeing how technology evolves in our facility while preserving the original design and history of the Frauenthal.

Blake Filius

Facility Operations & Technical Assistant

For over a decade, Blake has worked in stage design, audio, engineering, and a variety of other skilled labor positions to build a skill set tailored to upkeeping and presenting our historical theater. Having spent his entire life growing up in and around the Frauenthal, he was drawn back to join the professional team to support the place that fueled his imagination.

Heather Hansen

Associate Director

Heather is a Muskegon native with her BA in Business Administration from Central Michigan University. She has been with the Frauenthal Center since 2009. In that time, she has held many different positions and most recently was appointed Associate Director. In this role, Heather works directly with all of our clients to make their production and event dreams a reality.

Jante Miller

Facility Operations

Jante joined the Frauenthal team in 2016 as a part of Facility Operations. She fell in love with the history of the building and the excitement of hosting important moments.

Christine Nelson

Box Office Lead

Christine has been a part of the Frauenthal team since 2018, starting as a part-time Event Supervisor & House Manager. Since then, she has served in many roles at the Frauenthal Center, and we are now welcoming her back as the Box Office Lead. Christine is always excited and eager to work with patrons and clients, providing a welcoming and upbeat experience for all who enter our facilities.

Christine has loved special events since she was a young girl, leading her to earn a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Grand Valley State University. While the arts and theater were not always her dream job, the moment she stepped into the Frauenthal Center, she felt at home. She soon realized that this place and the people in it were like her second family. Branching out from working in private events, Christine has learned a great deal about theater and truly feels that the Frauenthal Center is where she belongs. It is the perfect blend of special events and the arts that makes her heart smile.

Sarah Sternburgh

Front of House Lead

Prior to joining the Frauenthal team, Sarah was a Companion Animal Leader at Petco. She has worked at many local theaters including The Playhouse at White Lake, Muskegon Civic Theatre, Central Park Players, and the Pigeon Creek Shakespeare Company. Most recently, she was Properties Manager for The Playhouse at White Lake.
