Join the Community Foundation for Muskegon County for our 2019 Annual Gathering to discuss inclusive competitiveness and how to build an economy in which we can all thrive, featuring acclaimed speakers Dr. Jamie Bracey-Green and Mike Green.

This program is a FREE TICKETED event and open to the community. Tickets can be picked up from the Frauenthal Box Office now through the start of the event. Limited to 4 per household.

Doors open at 6:15 p.m. If you have tickets, please be seated by 6:45 p.m. If the Frauenthal Box Office is holding your tickets at Will Call, they must be picked up before 6:45 p.m. After that time, people waiting without tickets will be invited to fill in any empty seats.

Speakers

Dr. Jamie Bracey-Green is the Director of Temple University’s new Center for Inclusive Competitiveness, housed at the College of Engineering in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Recognized internationally for her work in building more inclusive economies, Dr. Bracey-Green’s leadership focuses on empowering underrepresented students to achieve success in the workforce and entrepreneurial careers. Much of her work centers around the role that STEM plays in building economies, urban health, economic vitality, and environmental sustainability.

Mike Green is the co-founder of ScaleUp Partners, LLC, an organization that works to build inclusive economic development and entrepreneurial landscapes throughout the country. A New York Times Leadership Academy Fellow and an award-winning print and digital media journalist, Mr. Green works with policymakers, economic development planners, educators, business leaders, and investors to change the economic narrative across the country and create a world in which we understand our past wrongs and our present challenges.
